Assessments for Civil Litigation
Dr. Goldenson is retained as an expert in civil litigation cases for both plaintiff and defense counsel. She engages in psychological assessment of adult plaintiffs and is frequently retained to assess the harms from allegations of various forms of historical childhood abuse including sexual assault. She also engages in other trauma-related personal injury assessments (e.g., assault in adulthood, as well harms from non-interpersonal traumatic events).
Assessments for Criminal Matters
Dr. Goldenson is typically retained by criminal lawyers and other third parties to address a broad range of referral questions including but not limited to an assessment of the accused person’s general mental health, risk to re-offend (criminally, sexually, or violently) and mitigation.
